My name is Ellen.

 

I’m an artist, designer, dirtbag, lover of myth. I call the mountains of Northern California home, but am always happy to be on the road exploring or working.

 

My journey to handpoke tattoo was a homecoming. This ancient practice feels so familiar to me it’s hard to explain. I’ve been creating since I can remember, but to find an art form that connects so deeply to the body, spirit and story has been world-shifting.

 

I’m deeply passionate about holding ceremonial space for tattoo experiences that are thresholds, celebrations, releases, initiations, healing and so much more. I believe when we mark our vessels with intention it is a sacred practice that goes way beyond the physical.

 

I’m currently loving designing custom pieces in a larger scale! I’m so honored to be a part of Song Dog Studios and be sharing the love of poked prayers with Iris!
